How many times can we change?

First off, I am annoyed with blogger. Ok onto Jaxon.
These are a few pics from the other day when we wore just about 3 different outfits...the first was her pajamas...and I'm not showcasing those...but I just wanted to show you how Jaxon has decided to sit in her high chair lately...why not be comfortable right?

After breakfast we got dressed for the day...and my little senorita decided that my coffee cup and her brush would be great to play with throughout the day.

when i was finally able to get the cup away from her to do the dishes...she decided to help.

She liked playing in the water...right before this picture she was sliding her belly up and down on the door...i didn't get the camera fast enough. But you can see how soaked through her shirt is.

After we finished the dishes...it was time for lunch...so we took off her clothes so she could really enjoy her Ramen noodles. She likes to hide the noodles places so she can eat them later...usually we find them behind her ears...or between her toes. This time she wanted to be like her cousin Avery and look like Harry Potter.

After lunch I figured let's change into a whole new outfit! And because her "aunt" Kim loves to buy her funny little things...why not try them on? So we experimented with Jaxon's new red boots...they were a little big...but I had fun taking pictures of her!

This is a video of her trying to stand up in her skirt in boots...it's apparently quite difficult.

And this other video is really nothing...i just like in the beginning how she is kicking her feet with the boots on...she doesn't do it normally and i think it's just adorable.

The night ended with a bath...we always check to see if the water is hot by putting the duck under the water...

What a cute duck!!

Speaking of ducks, we went to the park today. We literally rolled out of bed and decided to go. On the way down, we stopped to look at a few ducks in the pond...and they swarmed...no joking we had maybe 30 ducks inches away from us. Of course I was stupid and forgot to bring the camera...but I had my trusy phone and got a few pics of the ducks and her playing.

She wasn't so interested in the park as she was the woodchips all over the place. It's the little things right?

Here ye! Here ye!

This post is dedicated to my two other children, Petey and Tex. Look at their cute and "innocent" looking faces...well let me take you on a trip to memory lane.

No one has really seen this picture because at the time it was quite embarrassing. This is a picture of our patio at our old duplex. I'm not sure if most of you know about boxers...but they get bored. And when they are bored they tend to tear things up. Well look closely at this picture. You should see a hole in our wall that one of them punched(?)...not too sure how it happened...but the longer we lived there the bigger the hole got. You should see a top to a patio table on the ground...they tore the legs right off of it...and new wood in the background...yeah that was to repair the picket fence that they tore apart with their teeth...actually with just one bite (i saw it happen). And of course Tex is on top of the dog house and not in it.
This would be Mitchell's shoe. Both had a turn.
So, why is any of this important? Well recently the floods have come down in Abilene for about a week straight. Our backyard usually takes a week to dry from something like that. Well when that happens we usually put them in the garage when we are gone. After a dresser and the electricity to the garage door has been torn apart...we decided they can't go in there anymore either...we have other things in there that are important to us now. So what do we do with our other children...notice i don't call them dogs...because they have never been treated like that...well i don't keep them in the muddy backyard..because i know they don't like it...so we experimented. We left both dogs inside the house for a short period of time...well that short time turned into a whole day. And while we tiptoed into the house...looking for the latest victim of the two...we found nothing(?!!!?) so the next day...nothing(?!!?) and the next...NOTHING!!! what is going on?! I am so proud of my little angels...they even left the diapers alone that were in the trash can...seriously I am amazed!
Here is an old picture from a few years ago. I found it and it made me laugh...I love how funny animals backsides look.

And can you believe she was so small? My tiny princess.

Long Time No Blog

Well it's been a week or so, so I thought I would let everybody in on our ongoings. So what's been going on? Weddings! Or just one wedding right now...but now we are getting ready for the second one pretty soon!! Woohoo Kellianne! Anyway, the Doty clan and an old friend traveled to Midland and back on Saturday to see one of the greatest people we know get married. Candice if you read this, I can't tell you how truly HAPPY you looked...and that made you look all the more beautiful.
*there are no pictures of Jaxon because my battery died on my camera...again...and I thought I had lost the charger. Until today...I found it (way to go). So no pics of baby J right now...but just some funny stories.

Me and K...her and her sweet daughter Kayden went with us to Midland...and let's just say that Jaxon has found her a new best friend. Kayden kept her thourouly entertained. Especially when they were sprinting across the dance floor.

Here is Candice in her amazingly gorgeous dress...and I couldn't figure out how to turn the picture right side up with blogger....so tilt your head.
Daddy/Daughter dance...they danced to "Cowboy take me away" and I teared up a bit.
Puncho and Candice sharing their first bite together.
Us 3 girls...now Jaxon is in this picture...she is in my left arm behind Candice. She wouldn't stop crying so we just hid her :)
Addison and Kayden...the Belles of the ball! We had a blast
*And other news. The release date for the Twilight movie has been movied up to November 21st (those angels are singing "Hallelujah" again).

Why is she so dang cute???

Here is out little Angel supporter! Most of you know that I am a die hard baseball fan...and more so a Braves fan. Well, Jaxon's first pink baseball jersey finally fits...and even though it's not an Atlanta "A," I think it's still totally cute. And she is also wearing it to support John's performance against Boston...throwing a 9 inning No-No against the Red Sox is just amazing.
Yea, the shorts are the killer on the outfit...way too cute! All she needs now is her long socks and cleats!

And like most of my blogs...things just seem to happen while in the high chair.
So what's better than eating and having spaghetti all over your face?
Give up?
Spaghetti all over your chest!!!

You should have seen the bathtub after this...I think there are still a few noodles trying to get down the drain.

And, a big round of thank you's to Petey and Tex for a thorough clean up. Tex likes to get in the cracks of the high chair...Jaxon hides a few things for them there. Alright...I am about to send in a picture to the ACU Today for Jaxon...which pic should I choose...after cropping and all..I need your thoughts on which pic you think is best?!!

1. 2.
3. (look at her pouty lips)
4.
Just a little video of her showing off her mad skills. Again, in the high chair. Her Neena taught her this in San Antonio.

This is another video...in the highchair...she has started to "wink" at us. And also she sings a Backyardigans song...kind of. There is a Racing Day episode and we have a toy that plays one excert of the song over and over...and Mitchell bought a ringer that plays the same part. Well on it the main part of the song goes..."I gotta go go go go go go" and so on...Well Jaxon sings the go go part. She's gotten better at it since this video...and she is a little shy. Crazy girl.

Perfect

Ok. There is really only one word to describe this book that I read and it is Perfect. I know most of you know how obsessed I became with this series, and you may think that I am just saying that because I love all things Twilight...but really this book was everything I didn't expect.
I began the end of the Twilight journey on 12:43 am Saturday morning and finished at 12:45 am on Monday morning. I probably would have finished it in a 24 hour period if I didn't have work, pitching lessons, a baby, a husband, etc...but it really doesn't matter, because I feel like I never lost my place...it was all I could think about and I can't believe I only bought this book 3 days ago...I feel like I have had it longer. So still to all of you who just can't believe me when I say that Stephenie Meyer is the most amazing author out there and will engulf you in any story...you need to rethink your decision. And to say the least...after reading the 3 previous stories I was still caught off guard in this book. I didn't guess or think of anything remotely close to what was going to happen. She's an amazing writer...they are amazing books and the ending was simply Perfect.

The time has come.

First off, let me start by saying that all of you single women out there...I know the perfect place to meet a man. Once a year you will have a shot at putting the odds to meeting someone in your favor. But, if it all works out for you, you will need to know that WILL be sharing your man with another for possibly 6 months out of the year (depending on playoffs). Well, if you are wondering what in the world I am talking about it is none other than coaching school. The Texas High School Coaches Association assembles once a year (typically towards the end of July) and thousands of coaches (mostly high school football coaches) walk the streets of whatever town is lucky enough to host. This year we (coaches and their wives) roamed the town of San Antonio, and as much as I like to think it was a coaching school, it really looked like an Under Armour Convention and everyone was trying to show off their latest apparel. It was my first time to go and enjoy walking around and staring at people's chests to see who they were representing...and then all I could think about were my single friends back home who would die to be with me at the moment. Anyway, San Antonio was a blast...I have probably visited the town more than 15 times in my life, but always chaperoned by softball and have never been able to enjoy the city. And thanks to my wonderful mother in law, who so graciously came to hang out and watch her precious granddaughter I was able to enjoy the town the way one should.
By day us three girls would storm the town, waste some money, and refill our coffee cups at the closest Denny's...but by night...I was able to get my fist glimpse at the Alamo. I went to my first club (haha). Sorry I have to laugh at that, just because me entering a club is the funniest thing to imagine, but if you are ever in San Antonio and on the River...check out Polly Ester's...cutest place ever! I felt pretty hip (haha...sorry laughing at myself again). We also were able to catch a movie...Wanted, is the funnest movie I have seen in a long time. Angelina is absolutely the coolest woman out there. Anyway, moving on...here are some funny shots of Jaxon. This is our new way to get comfortable and sleep.
Here she is playing with a medicine cap. If you can't tell what she is doing...remember when you were young (or if you are like me then...remember last week), you would put a cup to your mouth and suck in all the air...remove your hand and just let the cup hang on your mouth...and then marvel at your magic trick...well that is what she is doing here...she is brilliant, that girl.

When we got back home, she tore into her toys like they were old friends.
And these are some old pics of her in her birthday pool...she LOVES this...it has a slide and everything.

When she sees someone enter a room she is so polite as to welcome that person with the highest pitched, "HIiiii," you could ever imagine...it is way too cute...I think I will have to video that.

Jaxon likes to climb in and out of her Bumbo seat and sometimes she will get stuck in there long enough for us to find our camera.

Help!

And since it is past midnight, and is technically July 31st, I would like to say Happy Anniversary to the most perfect, selfless, wonderfully goofy man that the Lord so graciously blessed me with. Throughout these 4 years of marraige and 8 years of loving eachother he has helped me through many nights of crying over parents, softball, family, lost dogs and has put up with my late night reading sessions, pms-ing, softball, parents, family and dogs. He has loved me unconditionally, just as I love him, and always keeps me on my toes. I am so greatful for that day that I saw him throw that volleyball across the court, (if you don't know that story I'm sorry), but if I wouldn't have seen it who know where or who I would be today.
Anyway, I love you...4 down, 70 more to go (at least).

Lastly, In one day and 23 hours (wow, I can actually feel my arm hair raising as I type this), I will disappear for a day or two. No one try to contact me...because I will simply ignore you until I have finished what I have been waiting for. That is right, Breaking Dawn is finally coming out (the Mormon Tabernacle choir have just busted out into the chorus of "Hallelujah" in my head). Friday night at midnight, I will be leaving the book party going down at my local book store and will be SPEEDING home to read...so really don't call me...I'll call you. Until next time...next week.
