My Poor Baby

I hate experiencing new things...especially when you have to learn to keep a crying baby happy. It is no secret that my baby is perfect. She sleeps, eats, poops, burps...and everything else a baby is supposed to do perfectly. She doesn't fuss when she has gas...she doesn't cry just to cry...she is just perfectly content with what the Lord has done for her...but today she had her first shots...and I almost died. In fact my heart literally dropped 2 feet. And sorry to sound like an experienced teenager but man that sucked. It was terrible seeing her in that pain for those first two minutes. But then the trooper was okay...until the medicine wore off...and round two was even worse. There was nothing I could do to help her out until the medicine kicked in again. I felt so useless. But now all is well and she is sleeping with her daddy...for another 4 hours, so I can give her more medicine. But this is what we have been doing sense.
<-- The before photo The after photo (obviously taken a while ago in the bath...but this is just about what it was like)...
Chipper Jones Beanie Baby Bunnie is making her feel better.

And my babies passed out on top of me. Normally I would not let my dog so close to Jaxon...but he literally would not leave her side today after she screamed for 40 minutes straight...it was like he was thinking "If I could just lick her she would feel better." Anyway the two of them were inseparable and she was sleeping great on top of me...she even left me a little drool stain.

By the way the growing girl weighs 11 pounds and is 23 inches long.

3 I like comments, feel free to leave 'em.:

Poor baby! Isn't it terrible? Avery had knots in her legs when she had the first set of shots. It sucks that they have them again at 4 months and 6 months....

Give precious Jaxon a kiss from us. Love yall

My poor baby. How precious is it that Texas is her bodyguard. He just instinctively knew. Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Love you guys. Oh and I love the drool mark!
